Nvidia B300 servers are now selling for $1M on the Chinese grey market as a crackdown on smuggling meets surging demand for AI compute.

These servers typically cost $ 550K in the United States， but a tight supply of restricted chips has doubled the price for Chinese buyers.

A B300 server holds 8 GPUs that use FP4 precision to perform 14 quadrillion operations every second. Each of these servers is packed with 288GB of high-bandwidth memory to ensure data flows to the processors without any bottlenecks.

The demand comes from a massive spike in token usage， which represents the basic units of data an AI processes to generate text or code.

Chinese firms grew their global share of these AI tokens from 5% to 32% in March-26.
