Anthropic was already the priciest frontier lab. Claude Opus runs richer per token than anything OpenAI or Google ships. And now Anthropic has moved enterprise customers from flat fees to usage-based pricing， layered on top of a new tokenizer that consumes more per request.

Customers are eating it. ServiceNow burned its annual Anthropic budget in months. Workato had one agent burn a full user's tokens in a single day. NinjaOne is moving 700 engineers off GitHub Copilot onto Claude Code.

Anthropic ARR sits at 30B， roughly 3x year-end. Microsoft alone is on pace to spend nearly 500M a year on Claude.

Anthropic might be the only AI lab on earth that was already priced at a premium and still has room to push higher. Enterprise AI doesn't bill like Salesforce anymore. It bills like AWS， except AWS never had pricing power like this.
