Biggest hot take I have heard from an economist recently. I thought my takes were wild， but this one takes the cake and it actually makes sense.

True tech revolutions always disrupt energy. The internet and mobile eras did not really do this.

AI， however， directly consumes raw power. Green energy， fossil fuels， and elements across the periodic table are surging because of it.

Rewriting bits is easy. Rewriting atoms is hard. This friction proves we are in a massive paradigm shift.
