UBTech has unveiled life-like robots！

It's their first consumer humanoid robot under the new UWORLD brand： the U1， a full-size humanoid designed for emotional companionship.

Available in male （183 cm） and female （168 cm） versions， the robot features 88 degrees of freedom， 2-4 hours of battery life， local encrypted memory， and an on-device emotional AI model trained with Huawei's Ascend framework. UBTech says the U1 has already received more than 11，000 pre-orders， with deliveries expected to begin in mid-September.

They do look a lot like C-Drama characters 😂 If their interactions are also this life-like， my sorry isolated ass may actually consider buying one.
