Xiaomi’s second-generation AI glasses have reportedly completed development, but the launch may be delayed after executive Lu Weibing pushed the pause button, according to XR Vision citing sources familiar with the matter. The report said Lu was dissatisfied with aspects of the product’s design and requested further adjustments. The release could be pushed to Q4 2026 or even 2027. Xiaomi denied the report, calling the information inaccurate and refusing to disclose details about the product’s actual development status.
