Former Alibaba Qwen spokesperson Junyang Lin has founded Pragmatik Labs in Shanghai, focused on next-generation agents that operate across both digital and physical worlds.
Lin, once Alibaba's youngest P10-level technical expert, left the company in March. Three months later, his new AI lab raised funding from HSG and Tencent at a $2 billion valuation.
He had previously built a robotics and embodied AI team inside Qwen. Pragmatik Labs now plans to bring frontier AI research into the physical world and use real-world deployment to improve its models.
