Features: • New StopCancelled hook event now reports when a turn ends without completing (interrupt, permission reject, max turns, etc.). • Recurring /loop tasks now show a one-line expiry notice in the transcript when they auto-expire after 7 days. • Web search can now be restricted to allowed or excluded domains via [toolset.web_search] in config.toml. • Session search index can now be disabled via GROK_SESSION_SEARCH or [features] session_search for hosts sharing $ GROK_HOME. • Drag to select and copy values on the /session-info tab; c and y shortcuts also work. • Double-click now selects a word by default and triple-click selects the whole paragraph. • New follow-up behavior setting lets queued messages send immediately as interjections instead of waiting for the turn to finish. • Tool commands and MCP servers now receive a GROK_SESSION_ID environment variable matching the current session. • Relative markdown links can now open existing files in your current working directory when no matching generated media is found. • PreToolUse hooks can now rewrite a tool's input before it runs instead of only allowing or denying the call.

Bug Fixes: • Queued messages no longer auto-submit while you are still editing them in the composer. • Sessions poisoned by rejected images are now healed permanently so future turns succeed without retrying the bad image. • Auto permission mode now correctly honors your explicit "always allow" grants and narrow allow rules from settings. • Subagent lifecycle events are now preserved even when delivered out of order, ensuring all subagents appear correctly in the UI. • Keystrokes typed while Grok is starting are now preserved in the composer instead of being lost. • Background tasks killed from the UI now correctly wake the model when needed instead of staying parked after a single-task stop. • [stop] / Ctrl+C inside a fullscreen subagent overlay now cancels the visible child session. • Hook failures now show the first line of stderr output instead of only the exit code. • Pasting text or dragging images while the scrollback pane is focused now focuses the composer and pastes there. • [stop] / Ctrl+C inside a subagent drill-in view now stops the focused subagent instead of the root session. • The dashboard shortcut now works with Ctrl+4 in terminals that do not support the Kitty keyboard protocol. • Pasting image-only screenshots from tools like Flameshot now works on Linux without a clipboard error. • Editing a queued prompt to a slash command like /btw now runs the command instead of sending the text to the model. • Text typed while a plan is being generated is now preserved when the approval screen appears. • grok du and worktree commands now work on Windows when only USERPROFILE is set. • Permission-mode changes made on the welcome screen now correctly apply to the newly created session.

Performance: • Finished subagent transcripts are now evicted from memory to reduce RAM usage and rebuilt from disk when reopened.
