The Greater Brazos Partnership says other companies have started calling since Terafab was announced, hoping to join the region’s growth.

Local leaders estimate Terafab will account for roughly 15% of the region’s total growth over the next decade.

Texas A&M expects at least 50 students to begin its new master’s program in microelectronics and semiconductors this year.

This is the Elon effect. Terafab will help America manufacture advanced AI chips at home for use on Earth and in space.

As Greater Brazos Partnership CEO Tom Johnson said: “This is a winner.”
