Modiqo has opened registration for the Rote Playoffs, a free online hackathon running from 1st to 6th of September.

The competition is built around Rote, a tool that lets AI agents save the steps required to solve a task rather than doing it from scratch every time it comes round, saving users from paying full price for an answer worked out weeks ago.

Rote looks at a successful run, saves the steps that got there as a Play, a readable recipe anyone can open, share, and run, and gives it a link, so that the next run can follow the recipe instead of solving the problem again.
