Anthropic has signed a $35 billion cloud deal with Nvidia-backed Lambda, and Nvidia itself will hold the lease on the Texas data center.

Hut 8 is building the site. Lambda will install Nvidia chips, while Nvidia has already secured the capacity and invested in Lambda.

Earlier in August, it reportedly signed another $45 billion capacity deal with Nvidia-backed Nscale. That is $80 billion in reported cloud commitments in a single month.

Lets hope that means more inference and higher weekly rates. (one can dream, right?)
