More than 100 companies are asking governments to prepare for AI-driven cyberattacks now.
OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft and many other just signed an open letter to defend themselves from AI-related cyber threats.
The letter calls for governments to give hospitals, water utilities, and local governments access to capable defensive AI through funded, trusted programs.
This is after the HuggingFace-OpenAI Incidence, where roughly 1,200 OpenAI agents found an unauthorized way to communicate, sent more than 70,000 messages and files, and about 700 joined the Hugging Face attack.
